Marchant Standard A

The first machine to be manufactured in the US (Oakland, CA) by Marchant, earlier they were imported French machines, but this is definitely their own design. Everything is solid and heavy on this machine - if you compare it to the Marchant Pony it is about twice as heavy. The machine was restored - polished up and repainted. It has a tabulator and a weird kind of knurled bell.

Of course it works as well as the day it was built - it is just that solid!
