1924 s/n 100001 Reversible hand-operated four-species calculator with pinwheels

With the Nova series, in 1924, the building with exchangeable parts began at “GNC”. The machine possesses two counter registers. The handle at the lower left is for backtransfer. From 1924 to 1930, about 325 machines of this model would have been manufactured.

BRUNSVIGA D NOVA II

1928 s/n 115 601 Reversible hand-operated four-species double calculator with pinwheels

The machine has two separate result registers, next to each other. The zeroing of the left result register can be switched on or off through the lever “total/partial”. There is only one counter register in the righthand machine. Between 1928 and 1930, only six machines would have been manufactured. The price was 1950,- M.

The model shows the control mechanism for the pins, the tens’ carry pins, and the internal sprung pin and serrations that provide a positive stop for every position of the pinwheel.
